Given the weather today, please take note that if we do need to close the school, this will be notified in a range of ways:

Please do not rely on getting a text immediately, as the system can take time to access at peak times like this :)

We try to remain open if we can, but safety for our children and staff is our priority.  Most of the staff live some way away from school and this can mean that we might close if we cannot get enough staff into school to run safely.

Please be aware that Kingsland Road is very slippery for driving. Please park on the main roads and walk up to avoid getting stuck. Many thanks,

The school leaver children in Hedgehogs MTW have had a lovely time on our winter walk today in Towneley.  We are so glad we wrapped up warm, it was definitely winter weather!  If your child is on the walk later this week, please dress them up warmly :)

Please hold on to your storysack and enjoy it until after Christmas as we will not be exchanging them on Wednesday as it is party day.

Julie Cooper came to see us on 26th January.  She had a look around and admired our Sensory Garden.  Then she had a chat with Faith about funding difficulties facing the Maintained Nursery Schools, before meeting some of the children and staff.  She has written a letter on the behalf of the Maintained Nursery Schools to the new Children's Minister, Nadhim Zahawi.  There is a copy in the cloakroom on the parent's board.
